  • Description
  • Objectives
  • Presenters
With national initiatives for quality and safety in healthcare and nurse sensitive outcomes driving the nursing work force, today’s nurse is different than the nurse of a decade ago. Evidence-based practice, patient centered care, and informatics are just a few of the elements that we, as educators, need to develop in our students. This requires a teaching paradigm that is different than traditional models. During this webinar, the presenter will discuss effective methods for the lab setting that address the new nurse competencies; and share evaluation methods to identify learning beyond the skill.
  • State three safety content elements to introduce into nursing lab settings.
  • State three interactive models for teaching in the nursing lab setting.
  • State three evaluation methods to be used in the nursing lab setting.
