featuring Susan Luparell, PhD, RN, CNE, ANEF

  • Description

  • Presenters
The most comfortable way for faculty to begin a conversation on incivility in nursing education is from the perspective of educator on the receiving end of student misbehavior. And, the evidence does indeed support that viewpoint as a real issue. However, the time has come for us to consider the topic more broadly, including the role faculty may play in fostering an uncivil environment. This webinar will explore faculty-to-faculty incivility and present strategies to cultivate civility within faculty teams.

Preventing Incivility

Objectives
  • Describe the consequences of faculty-to-faculty incivility on the overall learning environment.
  • Discuss strategies that foster faculty-to-faculty civility among the faculty team.
