Teresa Newby, DNP, RNC
Dr. Teresa Newby is an Associate Professor and Nursing Department Chair at Crown College in St. Bonifacius, MN. Her passion is teaching nursing students to become ethical practitioners. In 2014 she created a nursing ethics course that is currently being taught at the college. Dr. Newby also remains current in Maternal-Newborn Nursing; recently writing a chapter in a textbook for beginning nursing students. When she is not teaching, Dr. Newby enjoys a rich family life with her husband, two daughters, and four grandchildren.

Kathleen Turner, DNP, MSN, BSN, RN
Kathy Turner teaches core courses in the MSN and ABSN Programs including: the professional development, leadership and transition courses. She also mentors DNP students during their final scholarly projects. Dr. Turner earned her BSN at the University of Vermont and her MSN (Nursing Administration) and DNP at the Duke University School of Nursing. She has over thirty years of experience in adult health and critical care. Kathy has held numerous managerial and leadership positions: Assistant Head Nurse, Nurse Manager, and Clinical Educator. She is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, American Nurses Association, North Carolina Nurses Association, American Organization of Nurse Executives and Sigma Theta Tau International.
