Martha Baker, PhD RN CNE, CENP, ACNS-BC
Martha Baker has been a nurse for over 40 years. She obtained her Master’s degree and PhD in nursing at University of Missouri-Columbia. Within her PHD studies, she had a minor in Ethics and Religious Studies. Her clinical experience is in critical care and more recently 15 years in nursing education. She has served in leadership positions in professional organizations including past president of the National Alaska Native American Indian Nurses Association. Her research areas include Native American Nurse Leadership, cultural competence and spirituality.
